Clear aligners let adults and older teens straighten their teeth quietly. A series of custom, nearly invisible trays gently move teeth a fraction of a millimeter at a time, without the food restrictions and metal hardware of traditional braces.
Most patients tell us the biggest surprise is how few people notice.
What it is
Clear aligners are a set of thin, custom-shaped plastic trays worn over your teeth. Each set applies gentle, targeted pressure for one to two weeks, then you switch to the next tray in the sequence and continue the progression.
You wear them roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day and remove them for meals, brushing, and flossing.
Who it helps
Adults and teens with mild to moderate crowding, spacing, small rotations, or minor bite issues. Patients who had braces years ago and have seen teeth shift back over time. Anyone who wants straighter teeth but does not want brackets showing in photos, meetings, or on video calls.
More complex bite corrections may need traditional orthodontics. We will tell you honestly which path fits your case best.

Questions
Frequently asked
Are aligners as effective as braces?
For mild to moderate cases, yes. For more complex bite corrections, we may recommend traditional braces or a combined plan. Your consultation will make the answer clear.
Do aligners hurt?
You may feel light pressure or tenderness for a day or two after switching trays. Most patients describe it as noticeable but very manageable.
How long will I wear them each day?
Twenty to twenty-two hours a day. You take them out for meals, drinks other than water, and brushing.
How often will I come in?
Every four to eight weeks so we can confirm progress and hand off your next sets of trays.
Will I need a retainer after?
Yes. Teeth naturally want to drift, so a retainer worn as directed keeps your new smile stable long-term.
