Most people who ask about cosmetic dentistry are not chasing perfection. They want to stop hiding a chipped tooth in photos, or feel comfortable laughing in a meeting, or finally like what they see in the mirror.
We start with a real conversation about what you like, what bothers you, and what your day-to-day life looks like. Then we build a plan that fits.
What it is
Cosmetic dentistry is the family of treatments focused on how your smile looks: color, shape, alignment, and proportion. Because the mouth is one connected system, good cosmetic care always respects the health of your teeth, gums, and bite.
Some cases are simple polish and whitening. Others combine several treatments into a step-by-step smile makeover. We will always show you the least invasive path that gets you the result you want.
Who it helps
Adults and teens who feel self-conscious about staining, chips, gaps, crowding, or the length and shape of their teeth. Patients preparing for a wedding, a new job, or a big life milestone. Anyone who has been quietly editing their smile out of photos for years and is ready to stop.

Clear Aligners at Lakewood Dental
Clear aligners are a modern alternative to braces. A series of custom, nearly invisible trays gently move your teeth into place a fraction of a millimeter at a time. You wear them about twenty to twenty-two hours a day and swap in a new set every one to two weeks.
Because the trays are removable, you eat what you normally eat and brush and floss like always. Most adult patients tell us the biggest surprise is how few people notice they are wearing them at all.

Questions
Frequently asked
Will my smile still look like me?
Yes. Our goal is a version of your smile that looks like the best-rested, most confident version of you, not a stranger. We custom-shape every case.
How long do cosmetic results last?
Whitening typically lasts one to two years between touch-ups. High-quality veneers can last ten to fifteen years or more with good home care and regular checkups.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We accept CareCredit and Cherry and will walk through monthly options so treatment fits your budget.
Is cosmetic dentistry safe for my enamel?
When done properly, yes. We choose the most conservative treatment that gets your result and we protect enamel every step of the way.
Can I combine treatments?
Often, yes. Whitening plus a couple of veneers, or aligners followed by whitening, are very common combinations.
